Implementing the 1996 American Bar Association Universal Citation Report, the American Association of Law Libraries published the Universal Citation Guide, now in its second edition. It says it “complements The Bluebook by effectively bridging the gap between the current print-based citation forms and the technology-based future of legal information.”
